Sweater Pig
Ava, Grandma Randi and I stopped in to the Green Design store in downtown Princeton. Ava was extraordinarily entertained by these adorable puppets made from recycled sweaters sold there (made by Seven Smooches: http://sevensmooches.com/page27.html):
Chapel
Ava loves the stained glass windows and the organist's practicing at the Princeton University chapel. We stopped in briefly with Grandma Randi.
Playing with Mom and Dad
The blue ball continues to be a hit.
Our feet.
She loves the handmade wood tractor toy from Lill.
Ava shows the parrot toy who is boss.

First ramps of the season
Ava gnaws on a beef short rib bone and contemplates the beautiful jar of ramps that Mommy and Daddy harvested in the secret undisclosed location. Also, ramps in said secret undisclosed location, and later in the yummy frittata.

Offended
She enthusiastically took a bit of the egg yolk on the spoon. She had done this on a previous occasion and was most pleased with the result and ate quite a bit of it. Not on this occasion, however. Not pleased. Will try again.
Spring flowers
Ava was sleepy when we encountered the weeping cherry on Prospect Ave., and totally passed out by the time we got to the Eno magnolia glade.

Sophisticated tastes
Ava enthusiastically gnawed on artichoke leaves and ate quite a bit of the seared snow goose breast (pureed for Ava) that we had for diner (goose from Erik's Saskatchewan hunting trip in October). Ava's eating goose made Daddy quite happy, motivating a little goose cookbook reading.
