The girls helped me pick and process some local nettles.

The nettle process also involved observing morning cloak butterfly caterpillars on the nettles and bringing two of them, along with transplanted nettle plants, home with us as pets.

We went car camping off the Sterling Highway with friends this weekend to search for morels in the area that burned last year. We found some on one patch but none in some others. The campsite was on a lake that the dog enjoyed. We enjoyed taking slo-mo videos of the dog (in pursuit of a tennis ball).
