The big spring snow is melting

Diane brought beautiful handmade Easter crafts on Saturday

The Easter Bunny came. We've been having a week of spring snow. There was a fair amount of it in the yard and up in the mountains.

They ate about one bite of egg white and a lot of chocolate.

The chocolate fueled their first backcountry downhill skiing experience. We took their downhill skis and boots to our usual sled hill near a local trailhead, hiked it up hill, and released them. We figured the deep new powder would be slow and safe for them. We'll call it a success.
