We got a dog. He's a black Lab from a long line of distinguished bird retrievers, currently 14 weeks old. Daddy intends to train and hunt with him. His AKC name is Riverdale's Sprig of Thyme. We call him Sprig, which is another name for the pintail ducks that Daddy studies and hunts, and, of course, a sprig is a bit of a plant, which appeals to Mommy. 

Ines's parents came to visit from Germany!

Queen Elsa in the snow. Barefoot. We tried with the footwear. Really.

I wouldn't call this her first food, because there wasn't anything but salty juice on it, but Rosemary really loved teething on this goose bone after dinner. She's cut two teeth, in the middle on the bottom, each about a millimeter above the gum.

We had a lovely Thanksgiving at Grace and Kris's house.
