 We spent Mother's Day weekend in Seward with two other Waldorf families. Two of us mommies and the five kids traveled to Seward on Saturday morning by train, from Girdwood, while the daddies drove down trucks with camping gear and dogs. We camped near the water and went to the Sea Life Center and had lunch in Seward on Sunday before heading home.

On the train:

There was a curve here in the track, so we in the middle of the train could take a picture of the engine.

Reading a dinosaur book at a coffee shop. This is after the Sea Life Center but before lunch, and Ava is very tired.

Seward Brewing Co. for lunch. Rosemary was very busy, but Ava immediately fell asleep on my lap, and we had to take her lunch to go.
