Hometown hero and Olympic gold medalist Kikkan Randall did an event on Friday for the Anchorage Jr. Nordic kids. They got to ski with her and do meet and greet. So very cool of her. Ava was inspired.

 Mommy and Daddy got to hike Flattop sans kids. Sprig found a dead ptarmigan while he was running around (looked like it died in its sleep) and did a perfect retrieve of his find.

 Ice skating birthday party. Ava now enjoys ice skating, and Rosemary tried it for the first time, did a few laps with Daddy and Ava

 We're going to spend a few days camping on the coast this summer with the family of one of Rosemary's close friends. She is very excited about it and brings it up frequently. Here she is "drawing a map of the ocean where I'm going to camp with [my friend]."
