Wildflower hike with friends
Cool cave
Mommy's colleague's daughter and Ava spent the day after the last day of school in the office with their moms. We took a break to check out some trails.
Daddy took out some trees and expanded the garden a bit
The kids decided to see who could stand in the water (barefoot) the longest. Ava won. It was weird.
Fried fiddleheads
Hope Point trailhead
Fireweed/fern crowns
We barely got into the flower zone after slogging through the lower forest
Gymnastics birthday party
Recent Rosemary art, associated with the metamorphoses of real caterpillars in her class
Recent Ava art, mostly dragons
Two panels
Rosemary with a rainbow streamer in the sun
Mommy has gone on a few runs/hikes with friends
South Fork of the Eagle River, toward Symphony Lakes
A smallish brown bear had tramped across the Rabbit Lakes trail shortly before we did
Sprig found a misplaced sodden glove. He really wanted us to throw it, and when we did not, he ended up carrying it for about a mile.
