Apple Picking

We went to Larriland Farms on Sunday morning, about an hour northwest of us, to pick apples and vegetables.  And to acquire pumpkins.  Oh the pumpkins.

Apple picking itself was moderately entertaining.

These days Ava enjoys transferring objects from one place to another.  In particular she enjoyed transferring pumpkins out of the bins into Mommy's arms, and eventually a basket.

...we let it continue a little past four sugar pumpkins, but we only brought home two of these.

Ava didn't convince us on this trip that we needed armloads of decorative mini pumpkins and gourds, but maybe on another trip this fall she'll succeed.
