Ava really likes the Molly's Organic Farm book from Grandma Joanne.
She also has discovered the Thai frog musical instrument that Uncle Mike brought back from deployment a few years ago.
We hopped on the Metro and took Ava to the National Zoo for the first time yesterday morning. There was much pointing. We did not attempt to stand in line to see the panda. The Amazon house and the elephants were the big hits.
Skeptical about the sloth bear, both real and in bronze.
We headed to Chinatown for an early dinner after the zoo. Ava was most impressed with the roast ducks and the chef making dumplings in the window. All of us enjoyed the housemade noodles.
We walked around the mall a little bit before heading back. More pointing. Ava is an excellent tourist.
