Ava approves of our 3rd president

Reading the kayaker magazine and eating dinner with Daddy

Playing with Odie Dog

Hiking in the woods with Odie Dog, Ima and Mommy.  Enamored with dry leaves, pine cones, and Odie Dog

We went to Monticello on Saturday for a cooking demonstration of the "unusual" vegetables grown in Thomas Jefferson's amazing garden (for example:  sea kale, cardoon, comfrey, borage, snail flower, parsnip).  Ava was a quite a trooper.  She did eat some food, put quite a dent in a raw sunchoke and also played nicely with some large cardoon leaves.  Ava was most impressed with the pumpkins in the garden.
